Interview with the Division 1 Champions Season 4

1. What's it like to win your first WGL title?

Well what can I say? It feels great Its been a long time coming and I knew at the start of the season that the squad we currently have was capable of something special but even I didn't think we would finish the season unbeaten!

2. What was your best match of the season?

Without a doubt it has to be the ARS3 match. WHAT A GAME! Going into the match both teams were undefeated and I think after the first 3 maps (I didnt play these maps) it was 2-1 to ARS3 at this point out guys who where in the game showed the class they really have and how much they care about the team rather than themselves when they all of a sudden got in touch with ASH and I and dropped us straight into the final 2 maps. NO PRESSURE! We brought it back to 2-2 and then somehow managed to win the final map in what can only be described as the map of the season. Domination for the title winner takes all final score? 200-198. I really wanna say a big shout out to ARS3 easily the best team we played this season and on another day it would be them having this interview. A really good bunch of lads and ones I hope we avoid in T5 hehe

3. Who was your best player of the season?
I dont really think we had a best player of the season every single member played their part and they really were a joy to manage and a bunch of guys and girls I could not be more proud off. We all had the thrill of playing matches and all had the heartbreak of sitting matches out. But not once did any member of the squad complain and not once did we turn on each other. I only hope we can keep this squad together for a long time to come!

4. What's your views on T5?

It will be a fitting end to MW2 on the WGL and one im really looking forward to. At the start of season 4 I predicted WR to win the div and was laughed off this time I wont make such a strong statement but I think we have a chance of making the quarters and then who knows!

5. How much have you guys had to drink since winning the title?

No one at WR drinks its this policy that has lead us to the title. I implore everyone who is serious about playing games with a bit of plastic in your hand to shun the playboy lifestyle and live like a hermit on a steady diet of pasta and cheese. This is what has got WR to where we are today the only vice we are allowed is our weekly crack pipe smoke on a sunday afternoon.

1. What's it like to win your first WGL title?

Its a great feeling to win this title we have played some really good clans and made some friends along the way. when we first signed up we didn't know most clans in our division so we went in expecting the worst. As we played each week we learnt new tactics and worked harder as a team pushing ourselfs to do better. This gave the lads reason to play mw2 most nights again with each other which always helps build a friendship in the clan.

2. What was your best match of the season?

I would say x-uk (BiB) these lads played a good game and made it fun for us.
Even with them having doubts as we played them a few weeks before they played a much better game and gave us a good challenge once they lost they were happy to stay in lobby to have a good old chat after the match which is always good.

3. Who was your best player of the season?

All players played really well this season as teams was mixed about most games but vT Gee gets my vote as he was always willing to play in matches and took mvp a good few times.

4. What's your views on T5?

Looks interesting like the idea of home and away matches think this season will be the best yet.


5. How much have you guys had to drink since winning the title?

Not sure how much the other lads have but i know ive been through a fair few fosters enough to make me fill ill in the mornings.

1. What's it like to win your first WGL title?
Was a good enjoyable season. Think we have settled down as a team now into the WGL. Its great to win the league but the fact that we enjoyed it so much is a testiment to the admins that keep the right spirit throughout and kept us in check at the start.

2. What was your best match of the season?
Probably go with week 3 against ASG. They are a very solid team and took our first map off us. But importantly kept us on our toes the whole season right behind us.

3. Who was your best player of the season?
II OLIM II V2, he was solid throughout and was very reliable and played well in every game.

4. What's your views on T5?
Think its a brilliant idea and will give the chance for the lower teams to try and cause some upsets. Plus with the knockout part it will hopefully add extra spice to it knowing teams have to win. Great idea

5. How much have you guys had to drink since winning the title?
Probably more than we should have had seeing as were all under 18. Sitting in the garden in this weather kind of needs a nice cold pint though.

Interview with div 5 champs Season 4

1. What's it like to win your first WGL title?

It's a great accomplishment and one that we hold in high regard. When we signed up to WGL we hadn't really played many competitive games so when we walked into our WGL friendlies we hadn't really played together but our team work has improved massively and i think winning the division while it may not be a token to say we're the best far from it, it's definitely proof we've transformed heavily from an unorganised team to one that is now solely dependant on it's great team work and team spirit.

2. What was your best match of the season?

Our best match is a tough one really, i think the game vs MAW. We were both unbeaten and joint top of the division so it was a really important game and for us to really walk away with an easy uncontested 3-0 win was a great feeling, but for that aside, ZT:BB game was the best, nicest guys we've come across so far in our division and are really a credit to WGL!

3. Who was your best player of the season?

I'd normally be an egotistical prick and say i was, but there's 6 of us that are playing and really there weren't no best players. It's all down to a great team effort, But i think i'd point out our defenders. They sit in the same spot looking over a flag or a capture spot that doesn't get much action and when they are finally needed to do something, they do it perfectly without once moaning that they're bored.

4. What's your views on T5?

Sadly we won't be entering T5. WGL has kinda eaten away a lot of time from our community and the guys who don't play in it aren't really too happy with the time it's taken away, so in an effort to keep everyone happy we've dropped from T5. We will definitely be back for S6 if WGL allows us for black ops and i am really excited about the prospect of that. But i wish everyone else the best of luck for T5!

5. How much have you guys had to drink since winning the title?

Well, i don't know at what point in time we won it, does yesterday day time count? because if so, 4 kopparbergs. Apart from that, none Although i'm sure Unique has already hit the margaritas, she's got a drinking problem and i can see an intervention coming along soon.


Can i just give a shout out to WR, because they've basically ripped us apart every monday night and fortunately it hasn't unprepared them as much as it could of as they're still top of their division. But without these monday night games, i don't think in a million years we would of been this prepared for our matches with them spotting our major flaws every week and helping us fix them. They're great guys and girls so a huge thanks to them.

1. What’s your real name, Where are you from and what clan are you in? My names Paul and im from a little place called Ipswich in Suffolk. Im 31 years young and im in a clan thats run by a warped little bunch ... hence the name Warped Reality

2. What is your favourite music? I love R'n'B and still listen to the music of my teens .. a little drum and base every now and again! Although having 4 kids iv suddenly taken a liking to Gabrielle from high school musical! .... is that so wrong?

3. What is your favourite movie? Best movie of all time for me has to be Debbie does dallas! although the sequel "Debbie does Alice" was a very close second.

4. What is your favourite food? FOOD! MMMmmmmmmmm i will eat anything!! however my Fav has to be chinese.

5. What is your favourite sport? Footie of course! im a die hard GOONER!!! One of my best friends live right next to the stadium and has a balcony over looking the pitch ... needless to say,she is a minger but you do who you got to do to watch the match!!!

6. Who would you most like to get into bed with? Apart from Unique (ZFG), Peepo (WR and one dirty welsh women), Laura (TLS) prob would have to say M3l! It's just his long silky hair and smooth shaven legs that do it for me but if i fancied it bit of rough i would have to go with Savage WR!

7. How long have you been on Xbox Live? Nearly a year now, so not that long! i am a converted PS3 owner.

8. What are your top 3 Xbox360 games of all time?

1. Peggle - do not under estimate the addiction of this game!!

9. So what do you think about the WGL, what’s good and bad? I know EVERYONE says this but i love the way it is. Iv met so many nice and wierd people. I love the banter, sexual harrasment but most of all i love the way Evil Dead WR gets sooooo frustrated when things dont go right in a wgl match ... its a must see

10. How are you finding Modern Warfare 2? How does it compare to CoD4 and WaW? I really like MW2, and i know everyone bitches about it but its a game that if you get in the right lobby's you can have a right old crack! For me Cod 4 is still my fav just because i think things like death streaks and a flawed kill streak system has let the game play down.

11. What is your favourite gun and class setup?

Fast Class for HC - UMP45, marathon, lightweight and ninja pro - and of course "the THUMPER"
Core Games - Scar, scavenger, stopping power and ninja pro - and of course "the THUMPER"
Cunt class - for those lobby's where you get screaming kids jumping, doin a 360 and trying to quick scope - Noobtube, Thumper, semtex etc.

12. What’s your favourite map and mode? Has to be HC S&D and Fav map is Skidrow!

13. What about Killstreaks? How many Nukes have you had? i must be on 20+ by now but thats only because some nights .. when im lonely .... hint hint unique , I will stick the nuke on a go looking for it! But out of them, my Fav has to be a nuke that i got without firing a shot from my Gun on scrap yard! Stabby stabby class got me my first 7 kills, the harrier and chopper gunner got me within 4 kills of the nuke and the last 4 were finished off with the Tac knife

14. Out of all the clan matches you have played in, What one stands out the most? There are'nt any that really stand out .. iv always liked playing against the Dogs mainly cos i get to rape mani on S&D and then doores will rape me on every other mode we play TRC, MWG and TFC have always been a great bunch!

15. What do you think of your season so far? played 3 won 2 lost 1 was really gutted with the NGG defeat but they seem to be more organised than us plus more importantly i wasn't playing which is sooo obviously the reason we lost! lol Just kiddin!

16. Do you have a rival clan and what caused you to become rivals? Im prob one of the first to say YES! i have 2. AWOL but nothing to do with the WR connection, Just because Beaver and Boycee play for them now and there's nothing i enjoy more than to give them 2 a spanking! (they love it as well!) and theres IG! When i was xGc we were due to merge with Bones old clan but it all went horribly wrong and now id like to give them a good pasting!! (at this point id like to point out that they are all top guys at IG!) prob is they have played WR and beat them ... but once again i was not in the team so i would love to get some payback (bend over bones .. im coming for ya!!

17. What is your advice to young gamers? scream and shout all you want ... you will be muted!

1. What’s your real name, Where are you from and what clan are you in?
I'm Ross Mills, from Dundee and I'm in Altered State Gaming (AsG).

2. Tell us a bit about the history of your clan?
We were formed back in the summer of 2008 by myself and nismo TK and we were formed by splinter members of Suddenly Taken Over and Chosen Hero’s. We started playing on Gamebattle's ladders until the end of 2009. By that point we had 10 members and we went on a recruiting spree . We now have about 20 members who play regularly and competitively. We are currently creating out new website and finding new members to expand both our player and game base.

3. What is your favourite movie?
My favourite movie has to be Green Mile just because how well made it is and how well it works as a story.

4. What is your favourite food?
My favourite food is pizza, anyone who knows me at all could tell you that.

5. What is your favourite sport?
Sport would be football, try to play every week with a few friends.

6. Who would you most like to get into bed with?
Kind of have to say my girlfriend .

7. How long have you been on Xbox Live?
Must be about 5 years now, on this and my old account Shadowsun x.

8. What are your top 3 Xbox360 games of all time?
Gears of War, COD:MW and Oblivion.

9. So what do you think about the WGL, what’s good and bad?
From what I've seen of it so far I think its a really well run League with a lot of support when anyone is unsure of anything. Being a 'trainee' web designer would have liked to have seen your own site rather than a template

10. How are you finding Modern Warfare 2? How does it compare to CoD4 and WaW?
MW2 is a good game that I like playing with friends and competitively, MW1 is still the better of the two though and WaW doesn't even count for me as it was made by Treyarch who in my opinion cannot make a CoD game properly.

11. What is your favourite gun and class setup?
Favourite gun at the moment is the SCAR-L with a holo scope, semtex, stuns, scavenger, stopping power and commando.

12. What’s your favourite map and mode?
Map has to be crash and mode is domination.

13. What about Killstreaks? How many Nukes have you had?
In all honesty I barely ever have my nukes on, I usually have sentry gun, harriers strike and chopper gunner.

14. As this is your first season playing in the WGL, What are your expectations for the season?
I'm hoping that we can get a promotion to the next league but we will have to get through some tough opponents to do it.

15. What do you think of your season so far?
I think we've done really well so far. Even though we had a rocky start losing the first 2 rounds in our first match we came back and took the win.

16. Do you have a rival clan and what caused you to become rivals?
We used to be rivals with Suddenly Taken Over as some of us came from that clan but they seem to have disappeared so we don't have any rivals just now.

17. What is your advice to young gamers?
If you're under 16 you shouldn't be playing CoD but seriously just get yourself into as many competitions as you can to make yourself better with dealing with the pressure of it and the most important thing is to have good communication.

Its a really great place to meet new people and also to experience new ways of playing MW2

I never really played them to be honest but im sure they are great games!!

My favourite map is crash and my best mode is HQ Pro

I use the predator, harriers and chopper gunner and i have 10 nukes!!

Hopefully to win our division but for me just having a laugh and learning new things!

We had a hard fought match against WHM-B who were very friendly and a very good team just looking forward to playing everyone else!

Im not sure we have not really been around to long but some of the team played with other guys that are in new clans so i guess to eventually get one up on them would be nice!

What is your advice to young gamers? My advice to young gamers would be just to have fun not worry about noobs, spongers,campers and K ratios as you eventually start to lose the fun side of the game and just become annoying to other gamers!!

1. What’s your real name, Where are you from and what clan are you in? My name's John, I'm originally from Manchester but I now live in Birmingham after 11 years in Spain ( long story lol )I'm in Republik Rising.

2. Tell us a bit about the history of your clan?

We have been going 6 months this very week now. We are made up of experienced clan members from clans that take part here. Most of us have been involved in clans for a few years. The majority of us were tired of being in clans where we were being treated like kids ( no swearing in forums and so on ) even though most were 18+.

3. What is your favourite movie? the Good, the Bad and the Ugly.

4. What is your favourite food? Italian Cuisine.

5. What is your favourite sport? Football and cricket

6. Who would you most like to get into bed with? Kate Beckinsale

9. So what do you think about the WGL, what’s good and bad? Regular game nights in a structured league ( and cup! ) are a fantastic way to meet other clans and stay on your toes. A lot of hard work goes in to it and I'd like to thank the admins here, as let's not forget, have their own clans to run too. Bad things are minimal really. You get the odd gobby kid and big-time charlie, but they are largely not worth mentioning.

10. How are you finding Modern Warfare 2? How does it compare to CoD4 and WaW? It is terribly flawed. Someone you just shot respawning in front of you, kids with 'Hardline' getting a chopper gunner in a care package after only 3 kills and so on. At least on Cod4, you felt you'd earned that chopper, lol. As for WaW, I didn't really play it that much.

11. What is your favourite gun and class setup? Ump45 red dot, shotgun. Scavenger/ Stopping Power/ Ninja for Core.

12. What’s your favourite map and mode? I like Derail. TDM or S&D.

13. What about Killstreaks? How many Nukes have you had? Closest I've been is 18 and then I ran out of ammo, lol. I never have it equipped though as everyone thinks you're a clown the moment you trigger it and they just presume you've cheated to earn it.

14. As this is your first season playing in the WGL, What are your expectations for the season? It isn't, lol. We won Division 3 last season. It is however, the first time we've entered a B team. The team is mostly made of of newbies to clans. We don't expect to win division 5; just to gain experience under clan conditions.

15. What do you think of your season so far? As Yazz once said ( There's one for the teens ): The only way is up.

16. Do you have a rival clan and what caused you to become rivals? Not really, We had the odd disagreement with certain individuals, but I don't hold grudges and like to move on.

17. What is your advice to young gamers? I don't care if you have the voice of an angel, I don't want to hear you singing down my earhole!! Also, if it's sunny, put down your Fifa and go and play proper football outside!

we were formed about 3 1/2 years ago not long after the release of the Original MW. We are about 35 strong, with about 20 chaps on regularly.

everyones favorite....CURRY!!!!

Used to be American Football cause i played it for about 15 years but now probably football, been following Stoke City for about 5 years.

9. So what do you think about the WGL, what’s good and bad?

Absoloutly top drawer, we tried several times to get into GB but there was just to much cheating going on. WGL seems to be run by a lot of like minded gamers , who want competitive games with a big spoonfull of fun and banter, which is how it should be

10. How are you finding Modern Warfare 2? How does it compare to CoD4 and WaW?

MW2 is very good, I think i prefer the maps of MW and hope they do a massive map-pack update with them all on....Bring on BOG!!!!!
WAW lost it's appeall with me when the took tanks out of hardcore.

11. What is your favourite gun and class setup?

Being mainly a harcore player i like ACR, (just started using undermounted shotgun, which is nice), M93 raffica. Slight of hand, cold blooded, ninja then a good old martyrnoob grenade on the deathstreak!!!

12. What’s your favourite map and mode?

Map, probably Crash, mode HC HQ.

13. What about Killstreaks? How many Nukes have you had?

nope i'm not that good, leave that upto the rest of the team

14. As this is your first season playing in the WGL, What are your expectations for the season?

This is our second season, we got promotion from div 4 last year, then someone in the admins thought we were good enough to go into div 1 in the reshuffle....not so confident this year!!

15. What do you think of your season so far?

at the time of writing it's our first game tonight, england play at lunch time so i'm expecting half the squad to turn up pissed.

16. Do you have a rival clan and what caused you to become rivals?

not really, BTR were our main rivals, they are very good, well disciplined and great tacticly, alot of us have young families so we find it hard to get on to practice as much as we should.

17. What is your advice to young gamers?

Don't speak on xbl till your voice breaks......most of all at the end of the day it's only a game, have fun with it.

1. What’s your real name, Where are you from and what clan are you in?

My name is Chris, I am from Portsmouth and I play for Zimmer Frame Gamers

2. Tell us a bit about the history of your clan?

We were all members of a different community (i won't tar them publicly) but their views were pretty biased towards their own(admins), they would only take interest in what suited them and started to ban myself and warn other members for basic banter. Feeling restricted we all departed and i set up ZfG alongside MageOfTakhisis who doesn't sadly have much time to play with all the work he puts into ZfG! Great guy and without him this wouldn't of been where it is. This was back in march so we are a fairly new team and had a lot of new additions from starting this up.

3. What is your favourite movie?

Tough one, i would have to say Raging Bull if i had to pick 1.

4. What is your favourite food?

My favourite food is probably a boring one, Chicken cesear salad.

5. What is your favourite sport?

Football, hands down, I love other sports but football is always the winner! Although being a fan of Portsmouth, it's more of a soap opera than football at the moment.

6. Who would you most like to get into bed with?

I have to say my girlfriend, albeit she is a slug!

7. How long have you been on Xbox Live?

Not even a year, I think it was like October.. I am a converted PC gamer where I played several games competitively for years participating in many tournaments!

8. What are your top 3 Xbox360 games of all time?

Fifa 10, Guitar Hero 3 and i guess i have to put down MW2? i would put COD2 down but it's not active enough

9. So what do you think about the WGL, what’s good and bad?

Good: Met some great guys, and started a few relationships open ones i should add with a few members.Always welcome a free fumble around in the sleeping bags on quarry. It gives me the competitive kicks i crave and basically is just a great experience, everyone over ZfG is buzzing and loving it! Bad: Met some bad people like Vvi Brutal, invite the guy into some public games to whore some XP and he just gets nuke after nuke, the guy is an inconsiderate prick!

10. How are you finding Modern Warfare 2? How does it compare to CoD4 and WaW?

COD4 i have it on the xbox but i loved it on the PC. While i wasn't a huge fan of the perks/killstreaks on COD4, the gameplay on COD4 requires more skill which means i basically get 50-0 every time i play. I don't have WAW but meaning to pick it up just so i can see what all the love/hate for treyarch comes from!

Depends on the game mode obviously, but lets take a TDM class..

Search and Destroy on Karachi strangely because we've kinda focused a lot on it and while we're not perfect at it, i know what i do every round.

13. What about Killstreaks? How many Nukes have you had?

I've had 2 nukes, i've used 1 nuke. My first nuke someone told me not to use it until i die to get a bigger killstreak, next thing... it was game over. I don't really chase nukes unless i am on my own but most of the time i'm partied and i am a team player (aka i'm too shit but i'll use an excuse)

14. As this is your first season playing in the WGL, What are your expectations for the season?

I don't have expectations, well I do, but I wouldn't want to say them because i'll come across as an arrogant twat. Sod it.. I expect us to win it but that's due to the faith i got in my team and the potential i feel we have!

15. What do you think of your season so far?

Played 1, won 1.. couldn't of started better than a 3-0 win so i am really happy and the team we played against we're great guys. But next game will be a hard test for us!

16. Do you have a rival clan and what caused you to become rivals?

I don't think so, the game Vs MWG team in our division will be interesting after comments made after the last time we played them. Would probably be the game i'd like to be shown on WGL.tv out of any of ours just simply so we could hear them slagging us off

17. What is your advice to young gamers?

How young? if you're 13 of under, come to my house and i'll show you the ropes.. yeah it's normal that you're naked in my house!

Also, while there isn't a shoutout section, can i just give a shoutout to everyone involved with ZfG and a special shoutout to m3l and the WR boys because without them as sparring partners we'd probably struggle more than what we will and the lessons they're teaching us by spanking us is ironing out many problems. Also a big shoutout to Brutal, yeah he's inconsiderate but i don't want to upset the only person who plays COD2 with me

i never really played much of COD4 so to me MW2 is fresh. What originally let me down about MW2 was there was no co-op campaign i was looking forward to that after playing it alot on WAW.
i think overall MW2 is a decent game apart from the occasional public match thats full of noob tubers, i cant stan them.

im lovin the LMG's at the mo but i'd say my fave is the ump45 marathon and lightweight setup.

well to be honest we accepted the challenge of going straight into the prem and as long as we are there in season 5 i'll be happy.

1. What’s your real name, Where are you from and what clan are you in?
My real name is Nolan, I live in Lyndon, Vermont, USA (I'd be suprised if ANYONE knew where that is lol.) and I am a member of The Final Resistance.

2. Tell us a bit about the history of your clan?
Well our clan was started after a bunch of us left our previous clan. We decided we wanted to create a place where gamers could come and just hang out. You can be as serious or casual as you want. It's also a great place to meet other gamers who just want to play games and have a good time.

3. What is your favourite movie?
Still to this day, it's Saving Private Ryan. It's such an amazingly produced movie and the look inside WWII is unlike anything I've ever seen except Band of Brothers maybe.

4. What is your favourite food?
I'm a pizza lover. Fits in with my lifestyle, a lot of days I'm to busy to eat an actual meal (though I try to when I can. My Moms an amazing cook), so there's usually a pizza box or two kicking around my house.

Hockey! I love the physicality, and it's a very demanding sport, theres so many pieces to the game you have to be good at in order to play.

I love the size it's getting to be now, it really gives everyone a chance to meet some new people and maybe even learn something new. It's also a really good setup with the season and cup style of play. I wish the seasons were longer though.

10. How are you finding Modern Warfare 2? How does it compare to CoD4 and WaW?
Not eve close to ANY of the COD games from the past. It was okay in the beginning but a lot of players have ruined the game for me. A lot of the glitches and issues could have been avoided with a simple beta test. There's also way to much stuff in the game. I mean I like customizability, but why add MORE cheap attachments and weapons?

Unless it's a WGL Match, Care Package, Harriers, Chopper Gunner. I've only had 6 nukes, but they were an amazing six. I usually don't have my Nuke Streak equppied.

14. As this is your first season playing in the WGL, What are your expectations for the season?
I played in the first two seasons with The Zombie Army so I know the drill. Since this is TFR's first season though, I'm just hoping we can win a few games and prove we can challenge the big clans on here. We're kind of testing the waters this season, seeing how our new guys do and how we play as a team.

15. Do you have a rival clan and what caused you to become rivals?
Since we are new, we don't have a rival clan to be honest. Theres a lot of tension between us and TZA about the split but most of us have tried to be as good about it as we can. Most of us tried to leave on good terms, but it's understandable how they felt afterwards.

16. What is your advice to young gamers?
Oh I've got a lot but the key ones:
Don't speak like a racist, and try to speak like an actual person. To many people running around screaming at the top of their ten year old lungs. Also try to learn from other players, I used to be terrible at COD but I played with some skilled people and they gave me advice, and showed me some tricks, after awhile you'll find yourself playing better than ever. And lastly, have respect for other gamers, we can all be friends can't we?

All 3 Games were good but all suffer from the same things...bad spawns, noob tubes,cheap players, hackers, modders, ...I find that MW2's recent Map pack was not very good and very over priced.

Don't really have one but like the m16,ak-47, the famas..like sticky G'nades...there is just so much stuff to add in this Games it's hard to pick one class and stay with it.

Zero Nukes as i'm normally a run & Gun player and hate sitting still very long in games...got close a few times with nukes but the game ended..couple times was at like 23 kills and had a AC-130 in the air...and the game ended.

Just want to have some Games and some fun, hope we finish with a winning record but i'm sure it will be hard. I most likely wont get to play in many matches as i will be working.

Not really rival clans, but there are some people out there that i really don't care for much..don't hate them or anything but don't trust them either,I'm not going to be real mean to them or anything but if i can headshot them 200 times in a match ..then that would be great .

First- Play Fair, No Mods or cheating.
Second - Do your best and just have Fun.

I love my Metal and Rock music anything that has some good heavy or shredding guitar is what I'm into! Stuff like Guns N' Roses, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Deftones ect ect... Started out with Guns N' Roses when I was 13-14 and then moved on to Metallica and Slayer and then it just grew from there!

3. What is your favourite movie?
Hmmmmm, Terminator 2? Aliens? Predator? Christ... Errr... I can't call a favourite outright but I will say a surprise film for me just recently was District 9 I wasn't expecting much of it but it surprised me! Actually no my favourite film has to be Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas! Love that film!

All in all I can't fault the WGL, The admins keep the site up to date and in order and any morons are quickly dealt with the appropriate action. And of course at the helm of the WGL you have M3lm0th who just seems to have ideas spewing from his little Scottish head giving us more and more things to enjoy and look forward to within the WGL! And long may it be so!

Modern Warfare 2, yeah not a bad game but full of glitches and cheating kids, I prefer MW2's graphics but the gameplay of WaW and CoD4 were superior.

My expectations are that there will be a lot of good games next season as there was in the last. But this time TFC: Fire will be number one watch this space!

My advice would be to play hard and you will get better with time, but don't play at the expense of your education or friends and family. By all means keep your skill level up but remember to live your life too!

My real name is Richard and I am from Kent and I am lucky enough to be at the Warped Reality Clan.

I have quite a varied music taste but Rock will always prevail from me. Massive God Smack fan but also the like of Metalica and so on so fourth. Basically anything that is loud and had guitars, bass, and drums & a good lead vocal, just about sooth my ear drums.

Well this is a hard one as there are so many. I would have to say Seven with Brad Pitt, Morgan Freeman and Kevin Spacey. Absolute cracker that one.

Hmmmm fooooood. I love my food and I am a massive Italian fan.

Personally as mentioned WaW holds a very big space in my heart as it was the game that got my hooked on online gaming. Didn't really play CoD4 but for me I love MW2. I get very pissed off at it sometimes but I very rarely play anything else.

I think that it could have been better but on the same note we were in the toughest league in my opinion. With the likes of C4G (great guys by the way), TA, VXR, TFC, UW it was always gonna be hard. Also we went through some changes that I think will workout for the best next season.


15. What was the highlight in matches last season?

Beating the DoW. Just goes to show how close the quality is through our squad and the prem boys. Also shows that any given night each and every one of us can beat anyone.

16. How do you think WR will get on next season?

I think onwards and upwards. I think that this might be the year that we make the step up to the Prem as we have the right squad in place to do that and everyone is fighting for their place.

17. What is your advice to young gamers?

Get outside and go kick a ball about with mates. Socialise with the outside world. It really isn't that scary out there.




Interview with the Champions DoW

1. What's it like to win your first WGL championship?
It feels great to be Champions, and it's been a long time coming...! We were down to the wire with our buddies the Muppets in the final of season 1 and were just pipped playing HQ in the grand final. Last season, we stretched ourselves a bit thin with 2 teams at the time and it showed with us finishing 3rd from bottom in season 2. This time around, we worked pretty hard on our tactics and preparation for the matches and it paid off.

Above all though, it's been an amazing season and all of our games have been a lot of laughs - all of the teams in the prem are great sides, good players and above all top blokes and we'd like to thank them for making it so much fun, win, lose or draw!


2. What was your best match of the season?
So many to choose from... but I've got to say it was our game against Kermit's MWG side... what an intense nail biter that was! 1 Kill in the 5th map determined the result of that game and I think it's safe to say, one of the best and closest matches either side has ever played. Even better, as frustrating as it must've been to lose by 1 kill, the friendly banter continued and and both sides were gracious in defeat and victory. Awesome game with a great bunch of lads.

3. Who was your best player of the season?
It's been a real team effort this time around with everyone having their moment on their day! I think the MVP for every match we've played has been a different player and so I genuinely couldn't pick out an overall "best player".... we're a team and so we take the successes and failures together.

4. What are your expectations for next season?
The quality of teams within the prem is such that it's difficult to ever really predict what will happen in any of the games... With NSD and TFC:ICE leaving us and VXR returning to the Prem, I think the field is wide open and every team has the chance to do really well. All of that said, naturally, we like being champs and so we will be looking to defend the title to the best of our ability!

We've been really lucky to have some unexpected new talent join the Dogs of War in the form of 3 ex-TFC guys: RedRocket, Truth and Stoney... all of which have been known to make a real nuisance of themselves when playing against us! We're hoping that adding these guys to our squad will give us the chance to make 2 teams sucessful next season and get everyone at DoW who wants to play a few games in the WGL doing so.

5. How much has Maniacal (Mark) had to drink since winning the premiership?
LOL - probably not as much as vV i's bossman, DevilSniper!!! Sorry John, couldn't resist!

The truth is with the great community we have at DoW and with all the great clans in the WGL, a lot of the time playing on Live feels much the same as sitting down the pub with your best mates.... so needless to say, the fridge always has a good few cans in it ahead of game night! Being crowned champions just meant that we needed a couple more in there each!

Congratulations to all the teams who played in the league this season, across all the divisions - it's been the best yet and we're looking forward to playing you all again in Season 4.




Interview with the Division 4 Champions BTR

1. What's it like to win your first WGL title?
In a word awesome. It's great to see how far me and the lads have come since the season's beginning and how strong we're becoming, and have become, as a team and now we have a title to show for all our hard work and effort.

2. What was your best match of the season?
Two highlights of this season for me, the best league match for us was against ARS3 (big shout out to them) despite the 3-1 scoreboard the game was too close for comfort with one of the rounds being one by a single kill. The second highlight was the first time we beat TA (and although it was a friendly) it was good to see the progress we had made as a clan since the season's start.

3. Who was your best player of the season?
In my eyes, AjBass116 (not taking anything away from the other lads as they are all worthy of a mention here) but due to the sheer amount of time i've asked of him to stand with me in a private match whilst I run through tactics and timings. But i'd also like to say a big thanks to Mike (Wargasmz) for all his support, largely financial, and confidence in me and the lads.

4. What are your expectations for next season?
To continue this successful streak and to go for the top spot in which ever league is deemed appropriate by M3l Almighty.

5. How much have you guys had to drink since winning the title?
Me personally, 2 beers (which where a reward for dismantling my dad's shed lol) I know Mike had a few the night we won, as for the other lads i'm not sure i've been at home (i.e. not at uni and without my xbox) the last few days so not had a chance. Oh though im sure Aj will have been hitting the cherry sourz and coke this weekend.

1. What's it like to win your first WGL title?
Was Bloody Amazing and to do it with a game in hand was ace.
The team put alot of practice in pre season and it showed, with only dropping 1 round from our first 6 games!
On a personel note it was over shadowed with events leading up to our final game with half of our team leaving the clan!!!!I would have liked to have finished the season with everyone who started, but hey ho such is clan life.

2. What was your best match of the season?
Two matchs stand out for me, for pure Domination it has to be against BeM, everyone was on top form and from the off we hammered them.
The best game (and team) we played was against TLS, a very organised group, both of us had a 100% record and one had to go! We won 3-0, which is not a fair refecltion of the entire encounter each game was close. Really looking forward to meeting them in division 1 in a few weeks!!

3. Who was your best player of the season?
Thats a hard one, NGG Borntokill would get my vote, amazing player.

4. What are your expectations for next season?
Division 1 is going to be hard with some quailty teams, but NGG are aiming for Promotion.
At the Mo we are rebuilding our team and have some really good new players ready to upset some teams next season!

5. How much have you guys had to drink since winning the title?
Not Nearly Enough!

My name is Betts, Shane Betts, Brn and bread in Doncaster, South Yorkshire and i am glad to say i am part of NGG - Next Generation Gamers

2. Tell us a bit about the history of your clan?

NGG was formed by myself and NGG Perryman after we left our good old friends xDoWx due to us being GOW fans, Playing in a COD clan.
BIG respect to all the DOGS

NGG was formed in July/09 and we started from there on the understanding, Even if we only had a small group of friends playing, That would suit us.
We managed to get NGG Perryman's younger brother to join us and Bazza - Frosty - to name a few,lol

I had every intension of making a real go of NGG, So i went straight for the Vbulletin licence
With a lot of help from Bazza and his skills with Vbulletin we had our site and our first 4 members to create a GOW 1 team

We started with GOW and started to slowly recruit GOW players and left the whole COD side of gaming alone
We started to see many people wanted to be involved with the COD series so we gave that a go and basically did nothing

So we went through a tough patch and at 1 time it seemed NGG was not going to happen and we was on the brink of just giving up


This is when we came up with some strict better rules in regard to joining NGG, And ever since we have just gone from strength to strength

I am real happy in what NGG have achieved in the short time we have been set and what our MW 2 team has achieved so far

This being thanks to all our MW 2 players and especially NGG Borntokill and NGG Bornlucky who have done a great job of leading our team

Its a league that i dare say every member is willing to help each out and be friendly

WGL is the future of friendly competetive gaming and NGG wish it all the luck and future games to be included

10. How are you finding Modern Warfare 2? How does it compare to CoD4 and WaW?

On a personal opinion i prefered COD 4 over MW 2 and WaW, MW 2 is a game that anyone can pick up, WaW was a failure in itself but COD 4 was more for the skill of each player

11. What is your favourite gun and class setup?

I do not have a personal favourate class set up or gun, I tend to mix them about, even in matches to see what works for me on that day and that game

NONE - I have not had the chance to get anywhere near that,lol i know, I tend to get to maybe 7-9 then take risks and it all ends up badly, I have not got the patience to sit out and wait or "CAMP" to get the kills needed

As NGG missed out of the last season due to not enough players in NGG to make a full 9 player roster, We went ahead with just casual gaming and we was lucky enough to get some decent players join us.
This season we was put in to Division 2 and we have rocked that division so far with 4 out of 4 wins and only 1 round lost, We have had a great start to our first season and look forward to next season in division 1 !!!

16. Do you have a rival clan and what caused you to become rivals?

Old XGL - GOW has always been a game of mine and between NGG and XGL we have always had that rivalry, Friendly most times and always good

Its a real shame what happened to the XGL clan an i and NGG wishes the new XGL all the best and future rivalry between both clan again......

9. So what do you think about the WGL, what’s good and bad?
I surely have to say there is no bad points Good points is the atmosphere (most of the time),I know WR has made friends with a lot more clans through WGL and me personally have made even more,mwhaha. I seriously need to stop now, my friends list is getting very full and struggling to find people to delete. Maybe there is some truth when my boys call me a clan whore,ha. Bad points, I got to put up with Mels moaning at me when things aren't going right over here

10. How are you finding Modern Warfare 2? How does it compare to CoD4 and WaW?
I will not conform to previous peoples answers on this question. I LOVE MW2, yes we all know the problems it has but I am still on it at every chance I get. I have to admit I was never a huge COD4 fan (sorry sorry!) but then I only got it last summer (after WaW). I love WaW but still don't think the novelty of MW2 has warn off yet as I don't feel the need to go back to it yet. Overall all three have their good and bad points but WaW does stay close to my heart.

11. What is your favourite gun and class setup?
For those of you who I game with you will be familiar with the term 'Stabby Stab'. Yes I am one of those twats that runs around with a tac knife so...

A what now? Never had a nuke but then I never really put it up because I get fed up of not having a killstreak during the game,haha. Managed to a 25 killstreak once or twice but ofcourse I didn't have the nuke set up *slaps forehead*
My usual killstreak consists of Predator, Harries and Pavelow but this changes for clan matches as you bastards never even let me get a 5 killstreak!

14. What do you think about your team's performance season?
Ok....just ok,lol. We've had good games and we've had bad games. We've been going through some changes during this season so will hopefully be a bit more settled ready for season 4 now. Like everyone we need improvements and we know where to make these

15. What was the highlight in matches this season?
Unfortunately I had to miss the first few weeks of the season so only been in a couple of games this season but mostly enjoyable was against Piggys Paras, purely for the lobby chit chat but then I don't expect anything less from the Muppets However my favourite highlight-to-be will be to make Munchkin Prime cry next week hehe

Still love the wgl, I see Lime is the new sponsor, congrats defo the way to go. The best thing in the WGL is the comitment, watching the wgl admins work together to keep us entertained, I come on now and again to check out what's new, I read these interviews and watch the updates that M3l posts up. The bad stuff, no one seems to have anything to say that's bad. The only bad thing I can think about that's nothing to do with the wgl is that there should be more clans taking part. Wgl is goin to be huge.

10. How are you finding Modern Warfare 2? How does it compare to CoD4 and WaW?

I LOVE slight of hand Pro, helps Sniping. All these glitches don't help the game much. I'd prefered a patched version of cod 4 with the perks and stuff. Cod 4- nothin can beat that game. WaW- no one seemed to of liked, I got bored near the end of the year with it, but I like WW2 games so it was pretty good. But compared to MW2 it sucked.

WEll... MW2 has huge problems with host advantage, somtimes it feels like im playing Wanted as they can magicaly curve bullets at you almost every time... and also the fact that most weapons are so unbalanced it makes you laugh! xD apart from that you can actuly have some good times on MW2 if you are with your friends and have a good lobby.

The WGL as a whole is great, as a hardcore clan we always knew from the start that itl be a learning ass pounding, but the mixture gives variaty and stopes the game getting old very quickly.

Since i own all of them id have to say MW2, although the realism isnt that great, if you get hit with a barrat 50 cal, not only do you die but you also get liquidised lol

God where do i start with this, we formed in early November last year as a small casual clan

Mw2 on the whole is a good game, but cod4 for me gets the win everytime. After playing the

My real name is Neil, I am from Stockton on Tees and in the Call of Gamers, soon to be Shadow Recon Gaming.

2. Tell us a bit about the history of your clan?

Call of Gamers started about a year ago by Evildead and myself. We had both been in clans before (Evil in TLS and myself in a US clan called BoH) and decided we wanted to give it a go running our own clan. We got a few ex members of both clans to join up and started having some friendly scrims.
We got invited to season 2 of the WGL but couldn’t get the nine players to confirm in time for the start. Started season 3 and got invited by Beavis of xGc to merge.
Both clans were struggling to get new players so we decided to join forces and become Shadow Recon Gaming. Hopefully we will become a strong team and push some of the better clans in the WGL.

3. What is your favourite movie?
Shawshank Redemption followed by any porn movie that involves lesbians.

4. What is your favourite food?
Chicken Tikka Madras then my mum’s Roast Lamb Sunday dinner.

Toss up between Cricket and Football. Massive Arsenal fan and love watching England cricket games live. Mainly for consuming ALOT of beer.

Love the WGL. Everyone is pretty cool and it is sweet to meet clans of a similar mindset. Not keen on some of the bitching that has been going on lately but I think the admins have a cool way of dealing it.

10. How are you finding Modern Warfare 2? How does it compare to CoD4 and WaW?

Modern Warfare is a great game but not a patch on CoD4. It has a number of issues that affect the game.
The netcode is dogshit. 2 bar connection is unplayable.
Killstreaks are stupid. Too many people are going for nukes rather that capturing objectives.
And stupid, commando nobs who think a knife is a primary weapon.
Still with all its issues it can be still fun. Dont talk to me about WAW, Shite.

11. What is your favourite gun and class setup?
I play alot of Core so...
ACR, Sleight of Hand, Stopping power and Ninja

In public rooms though I have changing my guns for each prestige. Eg first prestige Assault Rifles, second prestige LMG’s, third SMG’s, etc

Demolition and Rundown. Got 3 of my nukes on that mode.

13. What about Killstreaks? How many Nukes have you had?
As mentioned earlier not a fan of killstreaks, I liked CoD 4’s killstreaks. I have Nukes equipped and if I get to Chopper Gunner I will go for a nuke but I don’t play every game going for a nuke camping an area unless it is beneficial to the team.

14. As this is your first season playing in the WGL, What are your expectations for the season and where do you think you will finish?

When we first started I was hoping for a league win. Ezee have demonstrated they are the best team in Div 3 and cannot see any other team beating them. Carry on Gaming have improved alot and even if we had six players it would have been a tight game.

Now I will be happy being mid table. Hopefully with Shadow Recon and bringing in new players we can compete with the best teams.

15. What do you think of your season so far?
We have been let down by people leaving the clan and not turning up for matches so this season has been disappointing so far but looking forward to the future with my new clan mates.

16. Do you have a rival clan and what caused you to become rivals?
Not really. Always liked playing (and winning) against Carry on Gaming purely because they had a similar sounding name. Nice bunch of people so not really a rival thing.

The WGL is a great idea, it gives you a real chance to compete against some of the best clans around and a chance to speak to members from them. The only thing I would change would be to maybe have a tournamet for core and one for Hardcore. I find it hard switching between the two so rapidly

10. How are you finding Modern Warfare 2? How does it compare to CoD4 and WaW?

Its clearly not a patch on CoD4 but it's miles better than WaW. I like some of the new introductions like secondary shotties but the killstreaks and care packages ruin it for me. I also hate the fact that it rewards people for dying (Painkiller, Final Stand etc.)

Unfortunately due to personal commitments I couldn't play so i've had my lovely assistant Dean7964 answer this one:

It was a good game all in all, we got of to a good start and went 2-0 off the bat, then xG managed to hold down domonation really well and looked set for a comeback after that win, on demolition they put up a strong defence on the last bomb plant and with a few seconds left we managed to pull a sneaky plant off and won the round, when we was defending roady managed to get an ac130 which really helped and secured us the win.

16. Do you have a rival clan and what caused you to become rivals?

Any clan that big themselves up without anything to back it up are generally considered rivals. Other than that we'd love to beat Munchkins team

PELL UK started off as a Pro Evolution Soccer league site where you could come to escape from the ranked slags who only go Barca and only pass to Messi. Over time it has evolved into a more general gaming site with FIFA/Forza/COD being played as much if not more that the new iterations of Pro Evo.

I'm really enjoying it but it haasn't hit the heights of COD4 as of yet. I think this is due to the maps. None are as likeable or as memorable as they were on COD4, I hardly look forward to any unlike Shipment on 4 when i'd wait most of the night just to play it haha.

Map would probably be Afghan but as I said earlier none really stand out. Best mode used to be HQ but its firmly now Mosh Pit. I can play the game much longer without getting bored with Mosh Pit as it mixes everything up.

13. What about Killstreaks? How many Nukes have you had?

Nukes haha.....hahaha.......No

My best killstreak is 22 and my style of play really isn't suited to getting Nukes. I lack the patience/desire to hide in a corner and pick people off. I prefer to be in the thick of the action and if that means I never get a nuke so be it.

14. As this is your first season playing in the WGL, What are your expectations for the season and where do you think you will finish?

I really just don't want to finish bottom! I'm quite competetive and would like to be near the top but as we're more of a group of mates who want a bit more from COD rather than a die hard clan I think we'll be in this division for a while.

15. You beat HTMU 3-0 and lost against BTR 3-0, Tell us a bit about it?

The 3-0 against HTMU was flattering to say the least. TDM was won by about 400 points or so and couldn't have been much tighter, S&D was won by a moment of genius from Yoolie basically killing the entire opposition team and we're quite good at HQ/Domination so that was what we were confident of winning and i'm sure HTMU were a little demoralised after the S&D game.

The 0-3 against BTR was a bit harsh on us but ultimately we didn't deserve the game. CTF we got fucked they said after they'd practiced and it showed. We have yet to practice as a team and if we are to progress this is something we need to do. TDM we had the lead but began to lose it (without making excuses I had a girl from work with me at this time as I was going the pub and I didn't have full concentration). S&D i'd hoped to be into my 2nd pint by this time but men failed to turn up and we were unlucky to lose in Overtime.

16. Do you have a rival clan and what caused you to become rivals?

No, not had the chance for rivalry yet.

17. What is your advice to young gamers?

Don't scream like a girl when you 1st come into a room as you will be muted. Don't play too much and who really cares about prestige!? Go the park and get pissed instead

Q: So EVIL DEAD your one of the admins over at Warped Gaming league, what does your admin work keep you busy with?

A: Answering questions from clans about rules, doing interviews, settling disputes, monitoring the forums ect, The list is endless.

Q: How long have you been with the WGL?

A: I joined the admin team a couple of weeks into the first season.
I saw a lot of potential in this league and when I see a good thing I back it all the way.

Q: What was your thoughts about Season 2 compared to Season 1?

A: In season 1 I was in TZA clan and the game was COD5 WaW, We had a very good season, We finished 4th in the league and got to the play-offs semi-final losing to MWG who went on to win it. Season 2 new game MW2, I left TZA and joined WR, We had an ok season finishing 3rd in the table.

I enjoyed playing WaW a lot more then I do MW2. There’s just been too many hacks, Glitching ect and the game just feels cheap.

Q: Any Predictions or thoughts about Season 3? Do you think the Season 2 winners will be as successful this season?

A: I can see TRC winning it again but I do hope that the other clans around them give them a run for their money.

Q: Whats your thoughts on the new teams for season 3?

A: I think they will do well, it was hard to decide which division they should start in but I hope we got it right. Good luck to all the teams.

Q: Your part of the Warped reality clan, How long have you been in there and what’s it like?

A: I’ve been in WR for about 4 months, Made some good friends, had a good laugh and it’s a clan that has loads of potential.

Q: Any Rivals among other clans?

A: I know I’ve upset a few clans in my time lol but I couldn’t put them down as rivals.

Q: What’s been your most memorable clan match?

A: There’s been a few that stand out, On COD4 with TZA beating XGL 3-2, It was 2-2 and the decider was sabotage very tense last round with us winning it.

WGL is amazing! (right answer yes?) Good things are that you get to meet lots of different clans and people, and play in a competitive yet friendly atmosphere, without fear of noobtubes and other bs. You get to feel like you're part of a community, it's a good feeling.
Bad points are that my team has no points yet! lol Someone help us out please, i will do anything you want... Sometimes people can take banter too far, and there are always immature idiots who want to ruin things for the majority.

10. How are you finding Modern Warfare 2? How does it compare to CoD4 and WaW?

I really like mw2, i think i have played it for 25 days now...but it is not as good as CoD4. I loved snd on cod 4 so much, i could play it everyday! Didn't play WaW, it is an abomination

Silenced Tar 21, cold blooded pro, spas 12, ninja pro, claymore, smoke. That's what I would use mostly on my favourite gametype..hc snd. I do use others, depending on the map and other things

If I'm playing snd my killstreaks are UAV, predator, precision airstrike. For anything else I will use predator, harriers, pavelow. Sometimes on hc hq I will go for the nuke using this setup, Harriers, Chopper Gunner, Nuke. I have had 5 nukes, all on hc hq. Best one was on RUST, on headquarters, with a sniper rifle! woop

14. What do you think about your team's performance last season?

Our season last time was marred by a major clan restructure that left us very short on squad members, we did ok and stayed in the division we were in. Then I got promoted and I now have to sort the motley crew out and make them do what I say!

15. What was the highlight in matches last season?

The highlight for me was getting a win against the very awesome WR!! 3-2

16. Do you have a rival clan and what caused you to become rivals?

There are no real rivals that I know of...I like everybody! It's all just friendly banter from all as far as I'm concerned, you can't take all this too seriously or you just end up looking like an idiot. There are certain people from certain "big" clans that think they are better than others, and like to big themselves up and put people down. But they are not worth mentioning

Last season was very tough for us TFO was a US based clan and the founding memebrs of the group decided to part company. Some of the rest of TFO didnt really want to be a Joint unit and really where pushed to one side. So the 5 main uk members decided to part company and form xGc which we are slowly growing

14. What do you think about your team's performance last season?

Our performance was Bad we lost all games but with the spirit of our group we gave it a go if it wasnt for the respect that was shown from the WGL teams we would of left a long time ago.

15. What was the highlight in matches last season?

We came close to having our first win against AWOL with a 3-2 loss so that was probably our highest moment but like i have said before when thursday night comes im just looking forward to playing against aload of like minded guys

I dont think we have a rival clan in that respect we have good realations with DOW WR and TFC yea a bit of banter with all those guys but i can't really say they our rivals.

Dave im from Co Londonderry in northern ireland and i am the leader of Team Amber

2. Tell us a bit about the history of your clan?

Well TA was started after i left eXo after it becomming inactive due to members having other commitments, i always found i worked best as a team leader call it natural talent , But i have quite a few contacts from the years of gaming that ive been through, most of the original members were ex xMoDx players which started on halo 3, won the First BCB came second in the BCB2 due to GoW being included which wasnt really a played game. Team Amber itself has had a great history so far, we've dropped very few games and learnt alot through them. We're currently in the semi final of the XGL Tournament and beat AWOL, MGC2, XGL2 to get there and i have every confidence of us reaching the final by beating TRC WGLs Season 2 Champions and that match is tonight (07/03/2010) Make sure to check the site to see how that went

We havent played our first fixture yet but the rules seem ok, 6v6 is too many in my honest opinion though for it to be comeptitive but thats just a personal opinion, Im personally glad theres a ban on all form of care packages and i dont mind the rest of the killstreaks remaining as i always say their easy enough to deal with.

10. How are you finding Modern Warfare 2? How does it compare to CoD4 and WaW?

Its alot more tactical but the guns are a joke, most of them have very little recoil and i much prefer the COD4 Snipers to the MW2 ones, World at war was a terrible, terrible game anyways and only deserves credit for creating nazi zombies, the game that becomes even more fun when your pissing about with your mates during a drinking session.

My typical class setup for killstreaks is UAV, Predator and harrier when im playing in any clan match as i find theres no point aiming high if your playing an established team, your AC130/ Chopper gunner is going to be shot down and your trying to be too much of an individual player, the key to winning games is team work, UAVs are important and Counter UAVS work wonders too, ive had 34 nukes so far but ive stopped going for them now.

14. As this is your first season playing in the WGL, What are your expectations for the season and where do you think you will finish?

I think i can honestly say with my team behind me that we are going to aim for the number one spot, It may be a tough road with the final opponent as stated below but i believe in my team and our communication is second to none.

15. VXR look like being your toughest opponents this season, How do you think you will do against them?

I Can see it being a close match as i know most of their players, teamed with dFi with Soulja, Tempo and virus and i know they are very good communcative players, they have a few very good individual players like neeno and bagel, jenko has been known to cause more than an upset against good teams before as well had him in one of my older clans about 3/4 years back. So while im not going to understimate them i plan to play our strong side and show remind everone just why xMoDx went 174-42


16. Do you have a rival clan and what caused you to become rivals?

A True rivalary is players from your team hating players from another team and theres no real rivalry like that exists with us, We have a few clans we have played before in the past but their rosters keep changing wheras ours has been solid - despite a name change really so no real rivalary exists but if it came down to matches that are usually close games and players feelings for eachover aside i would say XGL with a strong side out or vV I however i respect and get on with all of their players so i couldnt really call it a rivalary. Who knows VXR could become rivalary matierial after Season 3 we will just have to see..

17. What is your advice to young gamers?

Dont underestimate teams with experience, just because sometimes their aiming is slower doesnt mean they dont have a few tricks rolled up their sleeves.

Joined XBL about 4 years ago originally but only returned to online gaming for about 2 years. I Was recruited by a guy called stokey at "brothers of war" and it all started from there really. Soon became a moderator on there then after that a admin. My self and the other admin at BoW decided to dispand and create something new and fresh, after months of work VXR was born. Since then we have gone from strength to strength, Recruiting experienced members and building a little family over there.

When i first came to Xbox my first game was Gears of War, so id have to say that, along with Fallout 3 and Cod4

I had always heard of the WGL since it had started but never got round to actually joining untill season 2. We had a good start to season 2 then things kinda went downhill from the TRC match.

9. How are you finding Modern Warfare 2? How does it compare to CoD4 and WaW?

I Think its a decent game, love the perks and new weapons, air support is a little heavy but overall a decent game. Still not as good as cod4 sadly.

10. What is your favourite gun and class setup?

My favourite gun when playing publics would have to be the intervention with normal scope! stopping power and ninja. In matches id have to go for the M4A1 with holo and stopping power.

11. What’s your favourite map and mode?

I really like highrise for some strange reason not really sure why, also like skidrow but stay well away from the carnage of B corridor! Domo or search are my game types.

My usual skillstreak would be, Predator, Harrier, then Chopper Gunner, Only had 4 nukes in my time on mw2 not very often i use it to be honest.

In the gaming sense we had a brilliant start to the season with many people tipping us for the title. Things did let us down on the site side of things. We are all now a little older and a little wiser.

14. What was the highlight in matches last season?

Simple one this, Beating XGL. Matches with XGL are always hard and we managed to beat them pretty well. Since then XGL have got alot of talented players in so im glad we played them in the first fixture.

15. There was some controversial surrounding a match against TRC last season, Do you think looking back at it, Was it a fair decision to make you play the round again?

Not a question i was expecting but here goes, No i think it was a little unfair to make us reply the match especially when the match was already won. There was no proof of the carepackage not to mention the fact that there was 30 secs left in the game when it was called in and a hefty lead on points. Either way the game was won. I Think its hard for admins to come in and make a decision when they didnt see the game to start with. A Little dis-heartend as this shaped the whole season for us which resulted in us getting relagated aaswell as harsh beatings from DoW & MWG.

16. Do you have a rival clan and what caused you to become rivals?

We have always seemed to be rivals with XGL, i think this is because we have had alot of members come from there over to VXR which i know annoys certain people over at XGL. I must admit the real reason why i think we are rivals with XGL is simply because were kinda the same, I also think there is alot of history between both clans because of the members that have switched over. In all fairness this happends alot in the clan scene people come people go theres nothing anyone can really do about it.
Its always a good day for VXR when we manage to get a result agaisnt the very good team that is XGL.

17. What is your advice to young gamers?

If your serious about gaming. Find a game you like and play it as much as you can. Its the only way to become very good ata game. Myself i jump from game to game which is the reason why im crap!

Bagel is now a admin at team VXR...i know shock horror! but in all fairness hes a great team member for vxr and does alot behind the scenes. Dont think bagel will be causing any problems this season but you have to remember he loves his banter and thats all it is banter!

Anyway after having fell out with The gh0sts for PS2 / Xbox, I found my way into T360UK (Team 360 UK) after being made up to Senior Staff the Clan Leader took it upon himself to launch a witch hunt and save all the rubbish surrounding it ED (vV iDeadPulse), Matty (vV iDreaMz) and Myself all left. Then one night while playing and me have a couple drinks, Matty said lets set a clan up, ED laughed and said yes and I said hold on I need a Beer and while I was in the fridge getting a beer, it was all done, lol sorry I have missed a few details as I really had a shed load of Beer and Gin n’ Tonic so my memory is crap. But I can remember at 03.00 am on 01/12/08 setting up a website and forum while drunk.

9. How are you finding Modern Warfare 2? How does it compare to CoD4 and WaW?

I am really not a big fan of MW2, yes I know that sounds stupid, but I still prefer CoD4 as it required more skill to play as team due to the pace. MW2 lacks a lot with the maps and the way they have set them up. I do however like the Killstreak rewards and some perks are good and well thought out, but some perks like Light Weight, Marathon and Commando just suck and allow crap players to obtain kills. Oh and don’t even get me started on the Heartbeat sensor. I liked WaW as I would just run around not caring, as not a lot of us in the clan liked the game. Ohh, CoD3 rocks by the way.

Honestly, I have no favourite map. They are all set-up for a camp fire with a tent and a few beers. I would say if they bring Bog across from CoD 4 that would be my favourite map, otherwise Rust, joking Rust my ……….. Highrise.

For the Mode I do like Search n’ Destroy, but I quite like playing Mosh Pit, as you get a good mix of game types, so currently Mosh Pit.

12. What about Killstreaks? How many Nukes have you had?

20 Nukes, I got one this morning as I was really angry. In regards to my Killstreaks I use Pave low, AC130 or Chopper Gunner depending on the map and NUKE Baby for Ranked and a whole different set-up for Clan Matches. I have to say my personal Nuke Record is 5 Nukes back to back, which I am quite proud of.

13. You will be playing some top clans TRC,MWG,DoW,XGL,NSD ect, How do you think you will do against them?

Well as long my Lads turn up and focus I would say we are more than capable of beating all of them and I don’t mean any disrespect when I say that. I think it will all come down to us being able to handle Hardcore, we really don’t like that game type and it is a weakness.

14. As this is your first season playing in the WGL, What are your expectations for the season and where do you think you will finish?

With all the over the top Hype surrounding us I just want to stay in the Premiership Division, nothing more and nothing less.

15. What is your advice to young gamers?

Enjoy your gaming and don’t act all big and trash talk just because you have the skills.

Now this is a hard one, 1)MW2 2)Oblivion 3)Burnout Revenge (mainly cause it is the only game i was really good at )

4. How do you get your kicks when you're not on XBL?
Well when i am not being used as a human shield by my friends on XBL i can either be found slaving away in a hot kitchen down at the snooker hall, in the pub playing some darts which is where the 180 part of my tag comes from not the amount of drink units i consume

5. So what do you think about the WGL, what’s good and bad? Any suggestions?
Not got anything bad to say about the WGL, all of TRC are enjoying it though if you ask billyman he will tell you thumpers & tubes should be allowed (the dirty tubing whore he is!!!)

By far the best thing about the WGL though is the teams taking part. All are friendly teams to play against & we have met clans & formed friendships with other clans we might not have played without the WGL.

6. How are you finding Modern Warfare 2? How does it compare to CoD4 and WaW?
So far loving it except for the odd connection issues. It has taken all the good parts of CoD4 and built on them even if some of the maps are well suited to campers but hey its a legit tactic

Its just the 2 nukes so far, after I got the second one I've been going for some of the different titles/emblems so not had nuke on.

10. What’s been the highlight in matches so far?
Highlight so far has to be our match with DOW 2-0 up to come back to take it against such a strong team was intense. We lost the semi-final to DoW in season 1 so it was quite fitting that it went down to CTF for the decider in this match.

11. What do you think about your team's performance so far? What're your prediction for the top teams in each division?
As for TRC's start to the season we have got off to a fantastic start but are under no illusions. It is going to get harder & harder in Div1, as with all the divisions, there are some excellent clans who are all hard to beat which makes it hard to pick a winner in any league. As far as i can see any team can beat any other on the given day, so like a politician i am going to sit on the fence

2. What did Christmas have in store for you?
Travelling home to get drunk with my dad mainly. It was also gonna be the first Christmas spent with my girlfriend of four years, up until now we've spent it with our own families.

I don't know whether that's something I was looking forward to or not... I had a feeling that after the sprouts and cabbage on Christmas day her arse would be more noxious than a can of Zyklon B pellets.

3. What are your top 3 Xbox360 games of all time?
Only had my 360 for 2 years, but during that time I've had the most fun playing Fallout 3, CoD WaW and MW2.

4. Do you have an Xbox 360 widow at home or have you sworn a vow of celibacy in favour of XBL?
I've got a widow, Nicola. I've recently had to move my command centre into our bedroom, so she doesn't appreciate the terrible language I spew while playing online. I've every faith in her though, I'm sure she'll adapt.

5. So what do you think about the WGL, what’s good and bad? Any suggestions?
It's going ok yeah. It's brought a lot of clans together and we've got a nice little network going. There's around 300 people registered to the site - that's a lot of geeks in one league like!

6. How are you finding Modern Warfare 2? How does it compare to CoD4 and WaW?
Never played Cod4, but It's so different to WaW that it took me a while to get used to it. I'm ok now though, but my K/D's only 1.2 so I'm looking to improve that.

7. What is your favourite gun and class setup?
I'm a Hardcore nut, so as long as I've got Scavenger, Cold Blooded and Ninja I'm happy.

8. What’s your favourite map and mode?
I only ever tend to play Hardcore TDM and I like every map apart from Afghan. I think it's a horrible map that like.

9. What about Killstreaks? How many Nukes have you had?
No nukes, I haven't even unlocked them - that's how confident I am in my ability! I think I've had enough kills to get it, but I'm not gonna waste a slot on it.

10. What’s been the highlight in matches so far?
The most memorable game was that infamous 0-0 draw with X360 on Afghan core TDM. There were 12 very embarrassed people in the lobby after that game.

11. What do you think about your team's performance so far?
The Lycans is a brand new squad of people that have never played together, and the Alpha Wolves have only been running for two months. There's always a learning curve as squad members get used to playing with each other. We've a lot of work to do but I'm confident that we can do damage in our division.

I've got a good squad of players and I'm just happy to be their Captain, have a laugh over the season as we improve and avoid any more 0-0 draws...

I just hope everyone has a laugh and enjoys the next 6 weeks.

4. So what do you think about the WGL, what’s good and bad? Any suggestions?
I love how its such a friendly community, its a great place for clans to come and play and even meet new friends. The bad things are that its UK host only, it doesn't bother me as much but sometimes I will pull my hair out. But I did learn to deal with it and how to manage playing through UK connection.

5. How are you finding Modern Warfare 2? How does it compare to CoD4 and WaW?
With MW2 it is very balanced, that includes everything from the maps to the guns themselves. There are a lot of people who do things that can annoy you a lot and can make me very annoyed at points. Also when they made secondaries as shotguns, well I just got fed up, but overall its still a great game at heart and im proud to lead a team on it. Comparing to COD4, I did like 4 a lot better, but it still brings the great story and multiplayer experience as before.

6. What is your favourite gun and class setup?
I love my AK-47 with Sight of hand, stopping power and steady aim. Sometimes I use it with a heartbeat sensor, sometimes with the red dot. Other than that its the perfect class I have ever used.

7. What’s your favourite map and mode?
I love playing on Favela for a map on any mode. It is so detailed to the real thing in Brazil that it makes you feel your actually there. AS for a game mode I love playing Demolition. It just stacks you up with XP and I always wanted to have a game mode like this since the COD4 days.

8. What do you think about your team's performance so far? What're your prediction for the top teams in each division?
We as a group love playing with each other. People under estimate our true skills and we show that to them. We are extremely tactical in what we do and im really proud to lead them.

9. What're your prediction for the top teams in each division?
For division 1 I think team VXR wins, for division 2 TZA wins, for division 3 TFC-L will win.
For are my estimations for the end of Season 2.

10. What is your advice to young gamers?

Play fair, don't rush things up and be a proud player, those are my 3 commandments for playing and I hope that young players will pick those up.

I came online a couple of years ago after enduring conversation after conversation aboout the wonders of COD at a family Boxing day Party...I drove home and picked myself up a 360 and a copy of COD4 on the way home.

We played as a family unit for a while under(mlnr) - TJ27 Truth, my Bro Redr0cket and cousins BigmanRM & Elmer J Chicken.......I went looking for something a little more organised, and whilst searching came across a clan by the name of 'TFC', they had a great pic of a animated lady with lovely breasts (which ended up being TFC Aftershocks sig (a long term TFC member and 'LEAD' squad member) the Breasts were enough to make up my mind, I joined up, the rest of the family ended up following............and the rest is history.

3. What are your top 3 Xbox360 games of all time?
With my daughter, my sporting interests, and working as a Professer at the local Uni, I dont have as much free time as many of you, and am not one of those that plays every game going......in fact I only have COD4 MW, WAW and MW2. In my younger years I used to play alot of CounterStrike on the PC though.

4. Do you have an Xbox 360 widow at home or have you sworn a vow of celibacy in favour of XBL?
The lady has recently moved in, and is part of a facebook group called the 'COD Widows' - She is banned from downstairs when FIRE have a clan match.....she knows the rules - COD 1st, Lady 2nd I could not lead a life of celibacy, I award the lady with a good session of 'Milner Loving' when she has been a good girl.....or whenever im in the need of some goodness

5. So what do you think about the WGL, what’s good and bad? Any suggestions?
I think my feelings on the WGL are clear, it has a strong foundation on which we will build the No1 Competitive Gaming League/platform available - The WGL has great organisation, the leagues are full of talented teams, the team leaders and members are a credit to their clans and the league as a whole, and without mentioning names, when someone does try to shake things up and act like an idiot, we act and get rid for the good of the other teams in the Competition. Due to the format of the league, the opportunity to buld real inter clan realtionships is there for all, my whole friends list is now full of clan leaders and members, and I often play with them for a laugh as well as agaisnt them in competition.

I wont comment upon any suggestions.....just know that Mel, I, and the admin team have listened to players suggestions and have some great ideas that we will implement all in good time - THE WGL is only going to get bigger and better. All I would ask, is that all current clans should introduce any other clans that they have good relationships with to the WGL, ready to sign up for season 3.

6. How are you finding Modern Warfare 2? How does it compare to CoD4 and WaW?
I really like MW2, WAW was a different game, I kinda still miss Upheaval & Hanger, but these have been replaced with some really good maps on MW2, and a couple of bad (WASTELAND), overall its great to be able to put new strategies in place with up to date weaponry - although I'm sick of my brother reminding us all that he is the captain of a Hercules in the RAF, everytime one flys over us in game.

Its early days, TFC Fire enjoyed a strong Pre Season, and won our 1st game in the league, but overall....however cheesy this sounds.....I love playing with my team, My co-captain and brother Redr0cket, fellow long term members Pumpero and Retailer who are at the core of the team, with Highgrade, Stoney, Scotsman & new boy Viper completing the setup.....Over the last year or so we have really developed from a decent group of individuals into one complete and cohesive team.

11. Your team had a storming start to the Season - what're your prediction for the top teams in each division? Who are you worried might extinguish the TFC Fire?
With early losses for both DOW and MWG, and new boys VXR look dangerous(although they may want to keep some of their words to themselves until they prove themselves and the likes of XGL, TFO, TRC and AWOL (who have made a eye opening start) this league is really open....anyone could win it

TFC FIRE know how much quality is spanked thoughout Division 1, and will have to play at our very best to deserve the points that we pick up during the season, but know this........we may have great relationships with most of you, but we are coming after you all.....our Objective is to take the Championship Home.....so in answer to the question, who ever has aspirations of extinguishing us, whether you're a puppy of war, a Muppet, a newly born wolf, or a overconfident VXR member.....be very careful, as you will be running the risk of getting 3rd degree burns

I think it is to early to give well based predictions due to the number of new teams we have in the League. All I will say is that although ICE lost their 1st match, I think they will make a strong Challenge, but over all to all teams:

Compete, Focus, Respect, and above all Enjoy - The WGL is the best place to be and the teams you will come up against are not just your opposition in the heat of battle, but also like minded people who you can have a laugh and banter with

I have been on XBL Live about 18 months and joined C4G about the same time after finding them on the xbox.com forums. Like most of us, I was looking for a place to have fun and game with like-minded gamers without some of the more negative elements of online gaming. I have made some great friends at C4G and really enjoy getting out and arranging games with other sites with similar attitudes

3. What are you doing for Christmas celebrations?
Off to my mom’s this year and where possible trying to squeeze in as much MW2 & FM3 practice – I seriously need it

4. What are your top 3 Xbox360 games of all time?
Bioshock for single player and COD4 & Forza 3 for multi.

I am very lucky as my wife allows me as much gaming time as I can fit in once my daughter is in bed – either that or she just prefers the peace and quiet.

So far, nothing but good. Being new to the league I have been really impressed with how well run it is and personally I am chuffed that we were invited. As for suggestions, nothing yet but if I do think of anything I will pipe up

7. How are you finding Modern Warfare 2? How does it compare to CoD4 and WaW?
I didn’t like WaW at all – if I want to go back to WWII I would rather dig out COD2. I think I still prefer COD4 because while MW2 is very good the new weapons, perks and streaks despite adding a new tactical dimension to clan matches etc have also imbalanced the game – the rules in place for WGL (which I think are completely fair) are testimony to this. I would say I still prefer the maps on COD4 as well

8. What is your favourite gun and class setup?
I am still quite a low rank so have a lot to unlock still but really like the Famas with red dot and PP2000 as secondary for close encounters

9. What’s your favourite map and mode?
Favourite mode is either HCTDM or HQ Pro and favourite map is probably Rundown.

10. What about Killstreaks? How many Nukes have you had?
No nukes – I'm nowhere near good enough! I tend to run around like a headless chicken a bit too much to build long streaks.

11. What’s been the highlight in matches so far?
Just taking part – I can't wait for the league to pick up in the new year where the matches will come thick and fast.

12. What do you think about your team's performance so far? What're your predictions for the top teams in each division?
I was disappointed to lose our first match – no one wants to get off to a losing start but UW-B thoroughly deserved the win so we have to take it on the chin and look to make amends in the second week. I can't say I know that much about too many of the teams taking part but it does seem like that there has been some surprise results already and for me, that highlights the depth of quality taking part in WGL and I can see each league being extremely closely contested.

My Real name is Paul and I’m originally from Kirkcaldy in Fife however I live down in London these days.

2. How long have you been on Xbox Live and how did you come to found Warped Reality?
I’ve been on Xbox live about 18 Months now. I formed Warped Reality just under 10 years ago (next year is our decade anniversary) After playing for some of the UK's and Germany's biggest clans (Cleaners, DTX, Denial) and the UK's first professional gaming clan 4Kings. I decided I had enough experience to go it alone and founded WR first for QW then Q3, Counter-strike, Q4, Painkiller and then after a small hiatus Xbox360.

3. What are your top 3 Xbox360 games of all time?
Fable2, COD & Left 4 Dead

4. Do you have an Xbox 360 widow at home or have you sworn a vow of celibacy in favour of XBL?
I do have a long suffering other half. I have to admit she’s pretty tolerant to my gaming nights and I do always have to make sure I strike a balance between girlfriend time and Xbox time.

5. Having founded the WGL, you've got to be extremely proud of how far it's come in just one season... Tell us about how you're feeling, what's the plan and where do you want to take the league next?
Well the early success has certainly taken my by surprise as I never thought that the xbox360 scene was really ready or even wanted such a structure but luckily for us all it was. I don’t really think I feel proud of what has been done perhaps happy is a better description. As the success of WGL is really nothing to do with me it’s the great admin team and most importantly the great clans and players that take part. I genuinely really care about the league and the scene and everything I do is for the good of everyone. However I do make mistakes. One of them being the Jetstar situation. Jay helped a lot in season 1 and without his input we would not be where we are today. I certainly do wish we could have sorted out our differences and it is a regret of mine that we could not. As for the future I am already working on a few projects for season 3 which should hopefully be just as successful as Goldrush has been this season and I am also looking at a new website overhaul and I’m sure there will be a few other surprises along the way.....MOTD anyone?

6. How are you finding Modern Warfare 2? How does it compare to CoD4 and WaW?
I am really enjoying it. I like the extra pace in the game that was missing in WaW. It suits my natural style. I think it’s a lot better than WaW and on a par with CoD4 but I enjoy the maps more on MW2 so it wins it for me.

7. What is your favourite gun and class setup?
My current favourite gun is the SCAR with Red dot, Lightweight, Marathon and steady aim.

8. What’s your favourite map and mode?
Favourite map is Terminal and mode is demolition such good fun

I have to say all our matches in Favela Demolition have been the highlights for me. We seem to be very good at it and if I’m honest I’m not quite sure how!

Since the beginning of this year, and its my first ever clan and my last as I doubt I'll ever be leaving. LOL.

So many to choose from but I'll go with MW2, Fallout 3 and Bioshock

4. Do you have an Xbox 360 widow at home or have you sworn a vow of celibacy in favour of XBL?
Yep and she gets sent to her room every night at 7pm to watch her soaps. I've got her well trained, even though though if she reads this my bollocks would end up in a pickle jar. LOL.

5. So what do you think about the wgl, what’s good and bad? Any suggestions?
Loving the WGL, we get to meet a lot of friendly new clans and have a laugh. I've made a few new friends through it and hope to make more. The bad is the opposite of that and can't be helped but you get the odd clan you don't like but just grin and bear it.

6. How are you finding Modern Warfare 2? How does it compare to CoD4 and WaW?
Loving MW2. Many a late night on this and many more to come. LOL. Its way better than WaW and CoD4, but it does have its little "piss me off" moments like the duel wielding shottys ( mainly the western type ones).... way too powerful... and the suicide javelin glitch.

7. What is your favourite gun and class setup?
I have a few different class favourites, but for fun it has gotta be my knife class. Marathon, Lightweight, and Commando and just running around stabbing with the tactical knife.

8. What’s your favourite map and mode?
Falava (Favela) or however you spell it, with the above class. Lots of fun to be had.

9. What about Killstreaks? How many Nukes have you had?
Not many, I always get stopped with 2 or 3 kills to go. I have had 3 ready to be used but was still in the Chopper Gunner before I could get out of it to use them!

10. What’s been the highlight in matches so far? Nuking season 2 new comers Welsh Hard Men or has there been something better?
I think the nuking of WHM was mainly luck on my part. Especially as it was hardcore and easy to kill. But, I always enjoy playing friendly matches which are the highlight of this league. Especially clans like WR, TFC, DoW and more.... Always a pleasure to play these guys whether we win or lose.

11. As season 1 champions, which teams are you worried might steal your crown in Season 2?
DoW are probably gonna be our rivals, with TFC and WR not far behind! Not sure about the new clans until we get a chance to play them!

I have been online nearly three years now and absolutly loving it. I ended up at WHM after looking on google for a Welsh Xbox clan and found a very active website (welshhardmen.com) with friendly and welcoming members. One of the best choices i have ever made.

8. So what do you think about the WGL, what’s good and bad? Any suggestions?
The WGL has been a phenomenon. It has been a competition that has brought many clans together, that play against one another with mature attitude and respect. Not many competitions can say the same. I personally think that the rules are a bit excessive but the line has to be drawn somewhere.

9. How are you finding Modern Warfare 2? How does it compare to CoD4 and WaW?
Modern Warfare 2 is the type of game where you love it one minute and hate it the next. My main hangup is the amount of glitches and hacks that are in the game. It will ruin online multiplayer if it continues. Compared to CoD 4, MW2 is close but not the same. Cod 4 set the standard of online gaming and i don't think it will be surpassed.

10. What is your favourite gun and class setup?
My favourite class is the Intervention with Thermal. Equipment - Tactical Inserion and Smoke. Perks - One Man Army, Stopping Power pro or Cold Blood pro depending if its hardcore or not and Sit Rep. I used the Barrett on my first playthrough but fallen for the Intervention now.

11. What’s your favourite map and mode?
Estate and Domination, a map where you can rack up the kills

12. What about Killstreaks? How many Nukes have you had?
The option to pick and unlock killstreaks was a brilliant idea by Infinity Ward. My current kill streaks are UAV, Predator Missile and Precision Airstrike.
I have had a nuke, on underpass. The best part was that i joined a game with WHM members in a public lobby and got put on the opposing side.

13. What do you think about your team's performance last season?
WHM had mixed performances in season 2. We won more games that we lost which is a good thing in our first season and came close to pinching a few results too. Overall it was positive and sets us up nicely for season 3. We have learned alot in a short space of time and will be looking for promotion this time round.

14. What was the highlight in matches last season?
Out of all the games i took part in, the best moment was the pre-game lobby with TFC Lead. Changing clantags and generally taking the mick. Awesome bunch of lads

15. What is your advice to young gamers?
Go to college, go to university, get a job and a dodgy haircut and don't act like an idiot because you can.

Ive been on Xbox Live now for more than 7 years, Wow it does seem a long time ago now as i were originally part of the beta for xbox live playing mainly moto gp and Unreal Championship, previously before that I were playing online on Halo via a system link software called xbconnect.

4. So what do you think about the WGL, what’s good and bad? Any suggestions?

The WGL has been nothing short of amazing and all the clans that come here to compete is why its growing by every new season. Season 2 did have a few flaws in the settings but all our fixtures were competitive and our opponents in Div 1 were very easy to get along with so we do look forward to playing against them again in the new season. The next season looks promising with a few of the settings and rule issues been amended so it shows that they listen to the community. Also i keep pushing m3l to getting a WGL cup sorted which imo will improve the WGL even more and allow clans form all divisions to go against each other alongside the running of season 3.

5. How are you finding Modern Warfare 2? How does it compare to CoD4 and WaW?

I like the game alot but i do feel the killstreaks make the game scrub friendly and the camping on the game is very heavy due to the killstreaks, i tend to go back to CoD 4 from time to time as its still an amazing game. World at War kinda died out for me when MW2 was released.

6. What is your favourite gun and class setup?

My primary class would be M16 with bling using red dot and silencer and for the other perks i use cold blooded,Ninja and final stand, my secondary class is the ACR with red dot sight and marathon pro,lightweight pro,ninja pro comes in handy for rushing and the objective modes. I do tend to swap around for various gamemodes.

7. What’s your favourite map and mode?

Terminal is my favourite map and my favourite mode is search & destroy.

8. What do you think about your team's performance so far?

In Season 2 our performance started off quite poor and also ended quite poorly tbh wasnt expecting 3 losses in the league and certainly wasn't expecting 4th place in division one hopefully in season 3 we will make things right and be where we deserve to be and thats the top of the division.

9. What about Killstreaks? How many Nukes have you had?

The team managed to chain a few killstreaks and managed a pavelow at the most but with the majority of fixtures being with us as the only attacking team you can imagine some killstreaks would be hard to come by.

10. What’s been the highlight in matches so far?

I would say the highlight of our matches would be against AWOL as we scraped a narrow victory and the match could have gone either way things were very tight and communication was very good in the match, when we lost fixtures we lost quiet badly but when we won fixtures we won quite comfortably but the AWOL fixture was the highlight match for us. This seaosn we have a much more stronger team so the coming season would be interesting to see how we do and also how we gel as a team.

11. What is your advice to young gamers?

Don't waste your life playing video games,try something else.

7. So what do you think about the WGL, what’s good and bad? Any suggestions?

I think it’s a proper laugh. All the teams we have played so far have been a right giggle – and that’s what it’s about, right?
I don’t think there can be much too be improved on, everyone is going to have opinions on what is good and what isn’t.

8. How are you finding Modern Warfare 2? How does it compare to CoD4 and WaW?

It’s the first call of duty that I have kinda become addicted to. Before I got an xbox, I remember at work, COD:4 was selling like hot cakes, and I didn’t really know what it was about, but now I do!
Modern Warfare 2 is better than CoD4 and WaW but there are still some parts that get on my nervous (people nuke boosting), unlike 4. You kind to have to look at them as two different games, I think the whole killstreak aspect of it has made it this way.

9. What is your favourite gun and class setup?

My favourite gun has to be the Scar-H. Most of my classes use the Scar-H and depending on map its usually one of these two: Scar-H, Scavenger, Stopping Power Pro, Ninja Pro or Bling (Holographic, silencer), Stopping Power, Ninja Pro.

10. What’s your favourite map and mode?

I tend to play a lot of Free for All. I tend to do quite well on that, unlike some other modes. Map wise I think it would have to be favela.

11. What about Killstreaks? How many Nukes have you had?

I have had no nukes yet, I think my highest killstreak is something like 17. I tend to panic if I get too higher killstreak!


12. What do you think about your team's performance last season?

I think we did really well considering that we have never played in a league before. It would have been nice to win a game but it doesn’t matter, we had a laugh along the way!
I think we really improved towards the end of the season, we learnt how everyone played in different modes, who was strong at one mode, who wasn’t etc. I think, this season anyway, we know what we are going to be up against and we know how it works and everything, so I think that we will be more prepared and will put up a good fight.

13. What was the highlight in matches last season?

Just watching us improve over the time. It was our best achievement and therefore has to be a highlight - Cheers to the teams that helped us do this!

14. What is your advice to young gamers?

At the end of the day, it’s a game. Don’t get worked up over it – just have fun

my real name is jamie and im originaly from the wirral in the north west - but now i currently live in bristol.

for about 1 year and 2 months now.

3. What are your top 3 Xbox360 games of all time?

erm a difficult one - all the cods of course mainly WAW as that is what i started on! but i love the Moto gp series and i also loved Portal from the orange box (a half life add on game)which is a FPS but with a puzzel based theme. Love Splosion man aswell - download that if you havent.

4. So what do you think about the WGL, what’s good and bad? Any suggestions?

Its good to compete against some of the best clans on the 360 - without the problems of GB (which seems to have broken into the league abit this season lol) But with that all said its good fun. I suggest getting rid of the sentry guns and maybe reducing the team size to 5v5 with a max roster of 11 and min of 8. Would enable more clans to join with fewer members.

5. How are you finding Modern Warfare 2? How does it compare to CoD4 and WaW?

I think the game itself is good but lets be honest its fucked at the same time - people go out of their way to hack it to pieces just to get a little badge with a skull on it or to run a bit faster or to get more carepackages - i could go on and on -

Now WAW was a totally different story there was no hacks only small inner map glitches which were sorted straight away - but people complained like mad about the MP40 with jugganoob on it - and after playing MW2 the MP40 package doesnt seem that bad at all now. I do think IW need to sort there act out and quick otherwise this game will go down in history for being the biggest seller but the biggest let down. COD 4 was ok i never really reached prestige as I got WAW with my xbox.

6. What is your favourite gun and class setup?

I have a few - i love the RPG with FMJ & Grip, stopping power, and steady aim - that gun is a beast - if it had legs and a mouth that thing would eat tokyo. (a wings of redemption quote)lol

I like the ak47 - red dot and stopping power, ninja. very powerful

The intervention is my favourite sniper but i cant use it with the thermal i have to use the barrett for that - strange i know lol. But one gun that i have got on to over the past 2weeks is the last sniper gun the M21 with acoge on it - that gun is bloody good and powerful - for all those that like the FAL try this one out instead it rapes the FAL for power. I have a free for all going up on my YouTube channel in the next few day with the M21 setup (which i go Bare rapage with) - Bagel boy quote lol.

7. What’s your favourite map and mode?

I like straight forward TDM and HC S&D - which is funny coz in WAW i was a domination man, but i havnt really played in that much on MW2. Map has to be scrapyard and karchi.

8. What do you think about your team's performance so far?

erm its been ok - nothing to shout about as we are a new clan only 3 months old but most of those members were ex WR so we have had time together - it was just incoparating the new members into the predator team. The Lycans on the other hand have struggeled this season and therefore i think we will only be entering one team next season. But i have faith in AWOL and we will be back next season stronger than ever - AWOL STYLE!!

9. What about Killstreaks? How many Nukes have you had?

Ive had 1 nuke (which was legal lol) i joined a free for all with BigChief only to go on a 25 kill streak and nuked the fucker - but to my amazement he still won the free for all because he was in 1st spot before i nuked the lobby - so he won on 28 kill and i came 2nd on 32 kills - strange lol. But i could have had loads i just do run the nuke much as i see it as pointless, which brings me to the point of them fucktards that go in a free for all to get a nuke killing each other - I fucking love hunting them bastards down!!!!!!

10. What’s been the highlight in matches so far?

Probably our first game and taking out last years winner MWG in straight sets - gotta love that shit to the start of a season like! lol

11. What is your advice to young gamers?

Dont worry about your KD or all them other bullshit stats - they mean nothing!!!!!! and dont moan like a Biatch when you get killed by a camper - just use your brain next time!!
